Dasain  is the most important Hindu festival in Nepal. After awakening people dress up for the ceremonies. The joy of the festival is characterised by a swinging 12/8 rhytm. At the end of the compsoition here is an optional improvisation on the G major scale. Because of the abundant accompaniment every soloist sounds great on its own.
