I am the regular conductor of the woodwind band “de Volharding”, Berkhout and Big Band “Fort Night Swing”. As a free-lance conductor I conduct AMC Big Band, Cotton Club Big Band, Jazz Warriors Big Band, Koki Boga Big Band, Small Town Big Band and Utrecht Jazz Orchestra.

Of course I like to conduct my own compositions for large classical ensembles like woodwind bands, because I know how it should sound ! In a relaxed way I explain  characteristics from jazz, pop and world music, like improvisation, articulation and phrasing. At his moment I study classical conducting with prof. Maurice Hamers at the Leopold Mozart University in Augsburg (Germany)
